Charlie Rangel embarrasses New York again

Charlie Rangel of the 13th CD insists that no Republicans voted for the Social Security Act, then concedes “well, maybe one or two” when corrected.  In point of fact, 81 Republicans in the House and 16 Republicans in the Senate vote Yea on the Social Security Act of 1935.

He also says the goal of Obamacare is to “provide healthcare to 30 million Americans who can’t afford healthcare or who don’t have access to it.”  Since Rangel is incapable of educating himself, could someone please inform the Congressman that the goal is to force 300 million Americans to buy insurance whether they want it or not?  With the exception of course, of Obama’s friends and family, and the entire US Congress.

Puh-leeeeze Harlem voters, can’t you do any better?
