Letter to the Editor
Another State Authority, the Inner Harbor Development Corporation, a/k/a Empire State Development, complicit with Brian Higgins, now seeks to control our outer harbor development.
The NFTA sat on the outer harbor property for over 30 years and did nothing but deny access claiming that the property was environmentally challenged. They alluded to contaminants but never disclosed the quantity and nature of the contaminants. We now learn that the only significant environmental concern is erosion.
In the 1990’s, when the NFTA put out an RFP for development of the outer harbor, the Masiello administration gave up its reversionary rights to the outer harbor. The RFP failed. Ergo the inducement for the surrender of the reversionary rights failed. Legally, the City continues to have the equitable reversionary rights to the property.
Jordan Levy and Empire State Development botched the inner harbor development when they laid down to Brian Higgins’s arrogant, incompetent, and unnecessary ultimatum to Bass Pro. We now have a big hole where the old Aud stood which they are trying to fill with anything and no major destination retailer to draw people to Canal Place.
The State is all about the politics of Higgins and Cuomo. They talk a lot but have never done anything constructive for WNY development or job creation.
The City of Buffalo deserves an opportunity to develop the outer harbor for our future generations.

Janet, I endorsed Karen Bisso for your Assembly seat, not only because she is highly qualified and will advance the issues and principals of her republican constituents, but also because you have arrogantly illustrated in every possible respect that you do not understand your duties and responsibilities nor do you respect the damage that you have done in supporting the agenda of Andrew Cuomo.
If you want to be a Democrat, you should re-register. To hold yourself out as a Republican is a fraud not only upon the people that you represent, but all of the Republican rank and file in the State of New York.
Without opposition, the Albany Democrat and RINO “establishment” will continue their path of corruption and destruction. You were elected by the Republican opposition to advance the Republican agenda.
Nevertheless, you voted to:
1. Allow men to use ladies bathrooms and locker rooms.
2. Allow the hypocrisy of wanting parental notification for those under 18 who wish to get a tattoo but no parental notification for girls under 17 who want a chemical abortion.
3. Allow a girl under 17 who wants a chemical abortion to do so without parental notification.
4. Allow gay marriage, for which you received large donations from Gay Rights groups. In other words, you sold your vote.
5. Require pharmacies to provide up to 7 translators for customers who don’t know English without respect for cost.
6. Allow the state to leave the door open through poorly defined legislation the potential to seize the guns of veterans who fought for their country if diagnosed with PTSD. You voted 29 out of 31 times with liberal Democrats on proposed anti-gun legislation like micro stamping and classifying 12 gauges with smooth barrels as illegal.
7. Allow late term abortions of 24+ week babies.
You refer to Andrew Cuomo as your friend. He is the opposition. He is a liberal progressive and elitist Democrat trying to act like a moderate by use of theatrics and illusion. You were elected to oppose Cuomo’s progressive agenda. You advocate that he produced a balanced budget and that bipartisanship is the only way to accomplish anything in New York, but you did not tell your constituents that the 2011 $10BIL budget deficit alleged by Cuomo, Silver and Skelos never existed and was in fact a fraudulent illusion to distract the people from the more important issues that if addressed would create jobs and lower taxes.
You voted for Tier 6 Pension Reform, which was nothing more than hype and did nothing for the taxpayers.
You are a double dipper drawing State retirement and a State salary. You earn over $200,000/year to vote as a Democrat.
The above are facts. If they offend you, I don’t particularly care. You should find yourself another vocation. Karen Bisso will defeat you.

CARL PARLADINO ENDORSES JIM BLAKE FOR STATE SENATE 51st DISTRICT
Buffalo Businessman and 2010 Gubernatorial Candidate Carl Paladino announced today that he supports Jim Blake for State Senate.
“Jim Blake is the obvious choice. His ideas convey the passion and commitment to foster prosperity and cultivate job growth through less government regulation and intervention,” Paladino said. “Jim is committed to fighting the Albany establishment and understands that families need relief from burdensome government and unending costs, taxes, and regulations.”
James Seward is a RINO republican, who has been in office too long while our state government has forced itself into every aspect of our life. Seward is part of the problem and we need to our state legislators to be accountable. Jim Blake has the business experience and conservative republican values that will make him an effective representative.
“We are extremely pleased to have Carl Paladino’s endorsement,” said Jim Blake. “We believe Republicans want fresh, new faces to replace ‘business as usual’ legislators.”
Jim Blake founded an international trading company which became an Exclusive Agent selling USA manufactured goods abroad, and resides in the Hamlet of Schenevus with his wife and five children.

Re: Michael Kicinski Candidacy
I endorsed Michael Kicinski for your congressional seat not only because he has true Conservative Republican values and will advance the issues and principles of his Republican constituents, but also because you have with unmitigated arrogance misrepresented your constituents after having lied to them about who you are and what you would do in Congress. You were not elected to be “your own man”. You are a fraud.
You obviously have no respect for the people of your district and Republican values.
If you want to be a Democrat, you should re-register. In 2010, you received the Conservative Party endorsement. Your words sounded great at that time. We have now seen your voting record. Your surrogate told the executive committee of the Conservative Party that Mike Kicinski was a weak candidate without experience or money and holding the office would be a stress on his personal life and family. As a result, despite Kacinski’s endorsement by the three Conservative Party County Chairs, you angled to have the State Party leaving the NY22 Conservative line dark this year.
I ask that the State Party Executive Committee reconsider. I submit to them that your campaign website is devoid of your position on any of the vital issues.
You gave money to Democrats at the ERA meeting.
You voted against the NDAA Amendment 1127 to repeal the indefinite military detention provisions.
You are one of only 2 Republicans on the gay and lesbian equality caucus.
The following site is to three 2010 Hanna campaign video transcripts illustrating the promises that you made and did not keep. You are spineless and have no integrity Mr.Hanna. You should be ashamed of yourself.
Did you know that 30% of members of politically oriented groups and organizations are not even registered to vote?
A similar percentage of donors to the Republican Party are not registered. People will donate but don’t vote.
Conservative voter registration is just as important as campaigning in this Fall’s elections. Heaven knows the Democrats and groups such as ACORN will be working hard to secure multiple registrations of individuals as well as registering dead people and Mickey Mouse like in 2008.
Are you registered? Are all your conservative friends and relatives registered? If not, here’s the link to the New York State Board of Elections, http://www.elections.ny.gov/VotingRegister.html
This is just too important and easy to do!! Please forward to your conservative friends.
