Some Really Amazing People
TEANewYork started as a resource, simply intended to direct people to like-minded people and groups, be it political interest, policy or discussion. But it took on a life of its own, not only because we were lacking Citizen Action, but more so because of the incredible people that have stepped up to do the hard work that needs be done, and that so many others are unwilling to do.
Please see here, for over 100 TEANewYork members that we really, really appreciate (though everyone is a precious jewel…).
Host a Meeting
Do as Mike Madigan did, with the Grand Island Q & A Meeting on property re-assessments, and the follow-ups on the School District’s $47 million Capital Project request. He, in conjunction with TEANewYork, hosted two meetings (& one coming up), and had a great turnout with a lot of lively participation.
We’ll help with public service announcements in your local papers, delivering fliers, we’ll even bring tea and crumpets if you decide to have refreshments! Don’t wait on the School Board or the Town Board to have a meeting — YOU have a meeting, and
let them come to you. Just hit “Reply.”
A Letter from Carl
The horror suffered by Amanda Wienckowski and her family demands justice.

Occupy Wall Street Sold Bill of Goods
By Mark Kostrzewski
“In light of the recent focus on the unrest of the supposed 99%, this is what I think the Occupy Wall Street crowd should do: First, they should go to their high schools and complain to their school boards for the second rate public education they received.” Finish reading here. It’s short and sweeet.
Tea Party similar to OWS?
However, [Jul] Thompson said, the list of disagreements between the two groups is lengthy.”A nation $15 trillion in debt and counting cannot possibly fund free college education, a $20-an-hour minimum wage regardless of employment, debt forgiveness. And open-border migration would decimate the already suffering job market.” Read it here: Democrat Chronicle
Only two forms of government
Very good government basics, every world citizen should watch:

Annual Holiday Potluck
Mark your calendar for Friday, January 6th at the Ellicott Square Building, 5:00pm. Carl Paladino has graciously offered the beautiful atrium there for our Christmas Party — only we’re moving it to January, because some core members are moving to Texas and won’t be in town til then. So unofficially it’s the Kick Obama Out 2012 Kickoff! but for now, we just need a little peaceful time to collect ourselves and enjoy each other’s company.
We are planning a Celebrate Conservatism inner-city outreach for around March or April — Star Parker, Thurman Thomas tentatively scheduled, and keep your fingers together and upright, Herman Cain may just join us. Let us know if you’d like to participate in the planning. Just hit “Reply.”
Rock the Vote
Ron Paul supporters are hosting a Rock the Vote for Liberty concert tomorrow, Saturday December 3rd, from 1:00pm and onward at the Club W, 199 Delaware Ave in Buffalo — featuring 14 bands. Our son Abram is playing — he’s the drummer in Pointless Pursuit, scheduled to go on about 8:50pm~! Info here.
Tea Party Winner
Carl Edwards of the Cattaraugus Tea Party Patriots won a County Legislative seat, by under 400 votes, in this past election. Fantastic! There are a few more races Tea Party patriots won statewide — I hope to assemble them for the next Alert. If you have some to share, please pass it along. Just hit “Reply.”
We’ll see you soon, eh?

Facing the Giants
“When you give it your all, sometimes you have to go even further. When your carrying the weight of the TEA Party it seems like sometimes what we do is not worth it anymore. We get tired of losses and strive for victories. Give it your all and then again, give more. We CAN win, we MUST win. The history of this country demands it. From the morning the Mayflower landed in Plymouth we have fought for Freedom. Time to give more of what you have for the cause of survival!” ~Rus
