The Road to Ruin [ALERT]

“These are the shocking scenes that have led some people to accuse the Occupy Wall Street protesters living rough in New York’s financial district of creating unsanitary and filthy conditions.”
Stinking up Wall Street: Protesters accused of living in filth as shocking pictures show one demonstrator defecating on a POLICE CAR

OWS all 2

Funny, I don’t remember weed-smoking defecating protesters, even one arrest much less 700,  sex, or anyone leaving one bit of garbage at OUR protests.  Compare and contrast here.

Incredibly, an ad on Craig’s List, offering pay to become an Occupy WallStreet protestor:

Oh!  This was the graphic I made for you but it didn’t show up in the last Alert:

The Crisis of Socialism
“Anyone with a modicum of common sense and the ability to perform basic arithmetic can see that a growing dependent class and a shrinking productive class equals an inevitable disaster.  It has always been a question of when the crisis would arrive.”   …at Bear Witness.

There is no difference between communism and socialism, except in the means of achieving the same ultimate end: communism proposes to enslave men by force, socialism-by vote. It is merely the difference between murder and suicide.    The degree of Socialism depends on how advanced is the road to Statism and Marxism.

Socialism = More Unemployment
Back in February 2010, when Congress was still debating the Obamacare legislation, then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) proclaimed to America that the law “will create 400,000 jobs almost immediately.” But according to a new report by Heritage’s James Sherk, Obamacare will have the opposite effect, pricing many unskilled workers out of full-time employment due to the law’s requirement that employers offer health benefits to full-time employees.  Read it here: Why Obamacare Might Cost You a Job

HR 4646
On January 1st 2012, the federal government may require direct deposit on all Social Security checks to impose a 1% tax on all bank transactions, via HR 4646.  Didn’t Obama promise if you make under $250,000 a year, you will not see one penny of new tax?

This is a 1% tax on all transactions at any financial institution – banks, credit unions, savings and loans, etc. Any deposit you make, or even a transfer within your account, will have a 1% tax charged. ~If your paycheck or your social security or whatever is direct deposit, it will get a 1% tax charged for the transaction. ~If your paycheck is $1000, then you will pay Obama $10 just for the privilege of depositing your paycheck in your bank. Even if you hand carry your paycheck or any check into your bank for a deposit, 1% tax will be charged. ~You receive a $5,000 stock dividend from your broker, Obama takes $50 just to allow you to deposit that check in the bank.. ~If you take $1,000 cash to deposit at your bank, 1% tax will be charged.

Take Action!

Cut Spending Now is an effort by Americans for Prosperity (AFP) to put pressure on Congress and their deficit-cutting “super committee” to cut wasteful spending and keep taxes low on American families.  You can help by signing the petition here.

Additionally AFP has joined a lawsuit against New York State for entering into the unconstitutional and illegal “cap and trade” program.  According to the suit, New York State has collected over $320 million in unauthorized taxes from this massive and secretive regulatory program, which has the effect of forcing New Yorkers to pay more for energy.  Read more here.

Because of population losses in NYS (1.7 million in the last decade), we’re losing two Congressional seats.  BUT, so much for transparency, and an independent redistricting commission, as promised by Cuomo.  The Senate is designing the new Senate districts, the Assembly is designing the new Assembly districts, and Cuomo, ALL BY HIS LONESOME, is redistricting the Congressional seats.  So we can expect gerrymandering all across the board with the former Weiner seat turned Republican by Bob Turner (NY-9) GONE; Hochul’s NY-26 district expanded to include Democrats with blinders on to ensure her reelection;  and since Brian Higgins (NY-27) joined the coup a few years back to overthow Silver and for other reasons, Cuomo will likely phase him out.

We need candidates to run against Hochul and Slaughter!  .. though we really won’t know what the freshly gerrymandered political landscape will look like til January.

Bogus Poll
A Sienna College poll has Mark Polencarz in a tie with Erie County Executive Chris Collins in the CE race, verifying that such polls are instruments of the state-run media, not unlike the Russian Pravda painting an alternate reality to further its agenda, OR…. proving that 50+ years of failure is not enough for some uneducated people, and that apparently, we need a few more years of Democrat “leadership” to launch us into complete fiscal ruin.

On Collins:

  • In 2010, the ECIDA under Chris Collins direction generated:
  • $1 billion in capital investment
  • 1,098 permanent jobs
  • $64 million in new permanent payroll
  • 7,827 new construction and equipment supply payroll (one-time)
  • Region added 5,500 new jobs in August 2011
  • Region added 9,900 new jobs in July 2011
  • Local economy grew 20% faster than the national economy in 2010.

9-9-9 Plan
Herman Cain, the strongly favored Presidential contender among Conservatives and Tea Party Reformers, has a plan that would place personal and corporate taxes, and a national sales tax at 9%  As it stands, the 9-9-9 plan scraps a host of taxes already on the books – including levies on dividends and capital gains, the estate tax and the payroll tax.  Supporters like it as it would simplify the tax code which is long overdue, libs don’t like it cuz they think it doesn’t tax the wealthy enough and taxes the poor, and some conservatives are concerned that it would give Democrats a brand new tax stream to try to squeeze out more revenue.  As long as it eliminates the loopholes, and provides respite for households below poverty, we’re liking it, a lot.

New TNY Feed
TEANewYork’s blog will now be contributing to Before It’s News — our RSS feed will begin publishing on Before It’s News with our next post — which will be this ALERT, a little later today.

There are steps we need to take to stop governement from continuing down this destructive path.  We must prepare to more actively engage in the process of restoring to ourselves, our families and our communities some fundamental principles of liberty, that have been lost to corrupt “leadership,” who has usurped those precious and providential rights.

Praise you in this storm

The media is so biased we need to start a push to get a rating system set up for the tv news. With so much information out there, the media shows it’s bias by the stories it covers and the ones they choose to ignore. They should be rated on a political ph scale + 14 for hard right – 14 for hard left. 0 for honest reporting both sides of the issue the way it should be. We have ratings for tv shows, moveies, video games why not tv news?

    Good idea. Let’s do it.

  3. TEANewYork says:

Hey fred, have you come with that rating system yet? You create it, we’ll publish it!

  4. TEANewYork says:

Well, I thought about it further, and I’m not sure how practical it is. Alot of people would need to be involved, watching the news on a regular basis (which I for one, don’t do), and for legitimacy and credibilty’s sake, they might need to be credentialed somehow. The only means we have to publish it is through TEANewYork on-line media (site, blog, meetup, fb, twitter) and We could send results around the State, but I’m not sure how much muscle we would be considered to have.

We are planning a newsletter soon, that would be available on newsstands. Maybe you could put something together to be included in that.
