Were Marines Deaths Due to Negligence, or Was Afghan Ambush a Setup?

Susan Price is the mother of Aaron Kenefick. Several months after she buried her son – whose body was retrieved by medal of Honor recipient Dakota Meyer, she is one of several voices saying help that was at first denied could have saved her son.

Susan was on this morning’s show with WBEN’s Tom Bauerle. Her son, Gunnery Sgt. Aaron Kenefick, was meeting with the elders of an Afghan village, to begin talks about establishing leadership there. He was ambushed by gunfire from surrounding hills, and he died along with 1st Lt. Michael Johnson, Gunnery Sgt. Edwin Johnson, and Navy Corpsman James D. Layton.

Upon hearing of the ongoing calls for an investigation, Congresswoman Kathy Hochul called in off-air to lend her support.

CBS’s 60-Minutes video here (about 15 minutes).
