Rick Perry’s Unholy Alliances

This is very disconcerting, especially considering that Texas Governor Rick Perry, by some accounts, is the frontrunner in this election.  Not only does he appear to be extending benefits for illegals, exercising executive fiat over parental rights with regard to the use of the HPV vaccine, he was the Texas campaign manager for Al Gore and looks to be providing great inroads for the Islamic community — peaceful Muslims and supporters of terrorism alike.

Rick Perry Has Some Explaining to Do
By Da Tagliare – Vision to America

I’ve often been told that you can accurately judge a person by the friends that they keep. Using this premise, let’s take a look at some of the friends Presidential GOP candidate Gov. Rick Perry has kept and still keeps.

In 1988, President Ronald Reagan had already served his two terms as President and was ineligible to run again. The Republican Party ran then Vice-president George H.W. Bush after a hard fought primary campaign against Senator Bob Dole. The top Democratic candidates included Gov. Michael Dukakis, Sen. Al Gore and Rep. Dick Gephardt among others. At the time of the 1988 campaign, then Democratic Rep from Texas Rick Perry served as the Texas campaign head for Al Gore. After Bush handily defeated Dukakis for the White House, Perry switched parties and became a Republican in 1989, but still kept ties with Democrat Al Gore – inventor of the internet and crusader for a one-world economy and government.

In 1999, Perry became Lieutenant Governor of Texas and Governor in 2000. As Texas’s governor, Perry has openly courted relations with a number of Islamic leaders.

    Gardasil Death & Brain Damage: A National Tragedy: http://www.nvic.org/NVIC-Vaccine-News/February-2009/Monday,-February-09,-2009-Gardasil-Death—Brain-D.aspx

    “NVIC’s latest Gardasil risk report comparing the number and severity of adverse events reported to the federal Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) through November 30, 2008, reveals that death and serious health problems such as stroke, blood clots, cardiac arrest, seizures, fainting, lupus and rechallenge cases are reported three to 30 times more frequently after Gardasil vaccination than after meningococcal (Menactra) vaccination….

    From the National Association for Gun Rights:

    Last week, Governor Perry’s deadline passed to return his National Association for Gun Rights Presidential Survey.

    Over the last few weeks, tens of thousands of NAGR members and supporters phoned Governor Perry and his campaign staff urging him to return his NAGR Presidential Survey 100% in support of our Second Amendment rights.

    Mr. Perry refused.

    Mr. Perry refused to tell gun owners where he stands on important Second Amendment issues:

    *** The UN “Small Arms Treaty” — a global scheme currently being worked on that would gut the Second Amendment;

    *** The elimination of the ATF — the federal department responsible for smuggling weapons to Mexican drug cartels, and then attempting to cover their scandal up;

    *** Would Rick Perry veto or sign a bill to reauthorize the so-called “Assault Weapons” Ban, which banned certain full capacity magazines and many types of semiautomatic firearms?

    *** Whether or not he would sign or veto legislation to eliminate the 1993 Brady Registration Scheme.
