Finally! A Solution! [ALERT: 18Aug2011]

15 trillion
A trillion is a WHOLE LOT more than a billion.  $15 trillion, which will be US national debt (credit card bill) by Christmas 2011, is almost unimaginable.  And $114,500,000,000,000 which is the amount of US unfunded liabilities?  It’s unfathomable:

Generations and generations and generations of debt

China Owns US
Banned US Commercial about the national debt

Watch it and weep

Well, besides the institution of a flat tax at 15%, no loopholes no exceptions, identifying and expeditiously rectifying fraud and waste and a couple of other sensible non-frivolous spending scalebacks, the answer is simple:
Restoring Government to its Constitutional Limits.
(I think I hear the angels singing~!)

For example, our NYS Constitution prohibits the State from incurring debt without Voter approval.  Yet, in order to do so without directly violating the law and incurring the wrath of the Electorate, NYS has created Authorities, through which money can be borrowed/funneled without voter consent, but with full responsibility for the debt given to the tax-paying citizenry.  But, our lawbreakers — er, um, lawMAKERS are STILL violating the law, no matter which way you cut it up.

Our Constitution also requires Balanced Annual Budgets.  Yeah! No lie, no joke!  Check this out:  No public money or eminent domain is to be provided in aid of private parties.  Well, aside from the Ladies Zonta or Gardening Society having to do fundraisers like everybody else, that would mean the end of Corporate Welfare!!
What’s that?  I think now my pockets are singing!

How many times has the lure of easy money, the promise of re-election cash, special interests, and various nefarious well-funded lobbies trumped the common good?  How often have you thought, wished or prayed for someone to represent OUR interests?  The Tea Party has had some limited success, but YOU know, and I know, nothing matches… the lure of special interest, cold, hard CASH.  Especially on the frontlines in NYS.

Drop what you’re doing and come listen to a presentation on a People’s Lobby, called the Constitution Lobby, by Bob Schulz of the We the People Congress and  We believe this may be the most important initiative that is being presented, and EVERYBODY needs to be involved, and become a Founding Member.  It provides for 20 Constitutional Monitors in all 62 counties of NYS, and attorneys advocating on behalf of ensuring that our legislators come into full compliance with the law, as set forth in the Constitution.  Bob Schulz has experienced such tremendous success in the past, that a saying goes among NYS Legislators, when considering new debt measures, it must be “Schulz-proof.”
